Temporary Chief Mate / Chief Officer (C/O)

OVERVIEW We are seeking a Temporary Mate / Chief Officer to cover the winter season in Mexico. VESSEL & LOCATION • Home port: San Diego, California • Onboard no later than: 22 December • Planned departure: Late December • Cruising area: La Paz – Cabo • Contract duration: Late February / Early March OWNERS & CREW • Owners: Young family, relaxed and easy-going • Total crew: 7 • Friendly, tight-knit crew environment DECK TEAM STRUCTURE • Captain • Chief Officer (C/O) • Deck/Engineer • Deckhand HANDOVER • A full and thorough handover will be conducted by the current Chief Officer prior to departure REQUIREMENTS • Valid B1/B2 visa • Yachtmaster Offshore (absolute minimum) • Extensive navigation and watchkeeping experience • Ability to stand independent overnight watches • Towing experience • Familiarity with Mini ISM • Valid ENG1 • Valid STCW COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Salary: DOE (Dependent on Experience), competitive • Repatriation flights provided Subject line: TEMP C/O – Mexico 2026 Only apply if you meet the minimum requirements.
