A prestigious motor yacht, cruising primarily in the Mediterranean and internationally, is seeking a full-time, year-round Yacht Manny / Deckhand to join the crew and provide dedicated care for a 9-year-old child on board.
This is a dynamic dual position combining childcare responsibilities with deck support duties. The successful candidate will be expected to create engaging, active daily routines, assist with homework and organisation, and maintain a safe, well-structured environment for the child.
On deck, you will confidently support watersports operations (jet ski, paddle boards), tender activities, and collaborate closely with both deck and interior teams.
Candidate Profile
• Strong swimmer with a sporty, energetic personality
• Confident in watersports and outdoor activities
• Previous deckhand experience preferred
• STCW certification required
• Green yacht crew with strong childcare or teaching backgrounds are welcome
• Fluent English essential; French considered a strong asset
• Skiing experience is a significant advantage
Occasional travel with the child is expected, including ski trips and major sporting events during winter shipyard periods.
Package
• Salary: €6,000+ NET per month (negotiable)
• Full accommodation, travel and meals provided
